Ben Smith – Smart Training & Determination For Success

Who can forget the time he gunned down Manu Tuilagi in front of his home crowd at Forsyth Barr?

It’s great to see homegrown local talent make it all the way to the highest profile job in NZ!

Congratulations to Dunedin’s Ben Smith. He has come from King’s High School and Green Island RFC to now be captain of the All Blacks for tonight’s match v Manu Samoa.

We know he’s not there by accident, he has already co-captained the Highlanders to a Super Rugby title in 2015.

Ben made his All Black debut back in 2009 and worked hard on his game for another three seasons before he became a core member of the All Blacks Best XV.

How did Ben claim his spot?

He trained his skill set smartly and with determination.

Now Ben’s famous for his Defence, High Ball Catching, Open Field Running, AND being the Captain of the All Blacks

Counter Attack From Kicks (video below) is a smart and fun rugby skill game.

It’s all about training counter attacking skills like open field running, support play and linking in a competitive environment and it’s heaps of fun.
